1. how do the wine tastings at ELO work?
Our tastings are small, personal and curated with a lot of passion. We usually taste 5-6 Portuguese wines - from sparkling wine to port - accompanied by small tapas and stories about the country, winemakers and enjoyment. Places are limited to 10-12 people.
2. can I also book an ELO Tasting for my company?
Yes, whether it's an after-work tasting, culinary team event or flying buffet with wine accompaniment - we bring the ELO spirit to your company or you come to us. We create customised concepts for groups of 10 people or more, even for larger events.
3. are there also larger events outside the shop?
Yes, for example at Hotel Luis or as pop-ups with other partners. Depending on the format, events for up to 60 people are possible - also as a set menu with wine accompaniment or with DJ & live music.
4 What is special about the Portugal wine tours with ELO?
Our tours don't just take you to wineries - you immerse yourself in the stories we tell at ELO. Small groups, time on site, real encounters. No tourist programme, but: experience the Douro Valley with all your senses.
5 Who are ELO's corporate events suitable for?
For companies that value quality, a personal touch and unforgettable experiences. From team building with wine knowledge to festive customer events - we provide flavour and atmosphere.
6. how long is the ELO open?
The retail trade may remain open until 8 pm at the latest. Tasting sessions for closed parties last until 10 p.m. at the latest, after which the ELO must close for good.
